There was a M4.2 earthquake offshore, 16 miles east of San Clemente Island. This event occurred 6:00:30 PM (PDT) on Friday, June 19, 2009.
The magnitude 4.2 event occurred 55 km (34 miles) ESE of San Clemente Is., CA (NW tip). This event was felt along the coast of San Diego and Orange County, and felt as far away as Los Angeles and the Inland Empire.
