Last Friday, there was a M3.2 Hector Mines aftershock. It occurred
at 9:06 am and was located 33 miles north of Joshua Tree. As far as
we know, it was not felt by anyone.

November 21, 2001

At 10:34 am today, there was a M3.0 Hector Mines aftershock. The
epicenter was located 9 miles west-southwest of Ludlow, or 37 miles
north of Joshua Tree.

Because of the Thanksgiving holidays, we are going to skip the weekly
update this week. Next week’s report will cover two weeks. Have a
happy turkey day!

There was a small quake in the Tehachapi Mtns. area early this
morning: a M2.9 at 1:09 am, located 10 miles northeast of Arvin or
18 miles east of Bakersfield. As far as we know, it was not felt.

A M2.8 quake was felt near Lake Isabella at 3:02 pm. The epicenter
was 9 miles north of the town of Lake Isabella, and the felt report
was from Wofford Heights.

November 14, 2001

We had an earthquake in a different, but familiar, place last night:
a M2.9 at 4:40 am in the Rose Valley area, 2 miles east-southeast of
Coso Junction. No-one has reported feeling it.

By the way, the M4.1 Bombay Beach quake yesterday was reported felt in the Mecca,
Indio, and Salton City areas.

The Bombay Beach swarm continues: a M2.8 at 10:50 am and a M3.1 at
10:57 am. No-one seems to be feeling them.

At 8:45 am, there was another swarm member at Bombay Beach. Magnitude
was M3.5, and the location was 3 miles south-southeast of Bombay
Beach.
