At 11:37 PM on Thursday, there was a ML3.1 quake 1 mile from Loma Linda. It was felt throughout the San Bernardino & Riverside areas & in Wrightwood. Maximum intensity was Modified Mercalli III.

At 2:23 pm today, there was a ML3.6 quake in the San Jacinto fault zone, 5 miles east of Nuevo. The quake was widely felt in the Inland Empire & as far south as Temecula. Most of the reports came from Perris, Hemet & San Jacinto. The peak intensity was Modified Mercalli level IV.

On Friday night at 7:39 pm, a small (magnitude ML2.8) quake was felt in the South Bay area. The epicenter was located 1 miles north of Manhattan Beach or 1 mile south of El Segundo. It was felt through the whole South Bay region from Santa Monica to Torrance, with a peak intensity near the epicenter of Modified Mercalli IV. There were several small aftershocks, including a ML2.6 at 9:16 pm the same evening.

A small cluster of earthquakes occurred this morning in the southern San Joaquin Valley. They were located about 9 miles west of Mettler, or 11 miles west-northwest of Wheeler Ridge. (Mettler is where the Interstate 5 splits with the 99, north of the Grapevine.) The largest quake & the only one reported felt was a ML4.3 at 4:43 am. “Felt reports” came from as far as Lompoc, Buellton, Ventura & Palmdale; most were from the Frazier Park & Taft areas.

At 2:57 pm on Saturday, there was a small quake in the Corona area. Magnitude was M3.0 & the epicenter was located 7 miles south of El Cerrito or 10 miles east-southeast of Corona. The quake was felt as far away at Riverside & San Clemente.
