Ooops. We just had another at the same location: 1 mile north-northwest of Loma Linda. The magnitude was ML3.0 & the time was 12:21 pm. It was felt in the same areas as the earlier ML2.7 was.

There was a small quake late this morning near Loma Linda. The magnitude was ML2.7 & the time was 10:15 am. It seems to have been felt in Loma Linda, San Bernardino, Riverside & Redlands.

Early this morning, at 5:41 am, there was a ML3.1 quake offshore, between Palos Verdes & Catalina Island. The epicenter was located in the ocean floor 14 miles south of Rancho Palos Verdes. It was reported felt slightly on Catalina Island & in San Pedro.

At 1:55 pm this afternoon, there was a ML2.7 quake in the vicinity of Santa Maria. The epicenter was located 8 miles north-northeast of Los Alamos or 13 miles east-southeast of Santa Maria. So far, there have been no “felt reports”.

Last night (Wednesday) at 7:28pm a M3.4 earthquake occurred 1 mile northwest of Beaumont. It was felt mostly to the south with a report coming from as far as Oceanside. The maximum intensity reported was Modified Mercally IV.

On Sunday afternoon, at 1:40 pm, there was a ML3.0 quake 9 miles south-southwest of Taft, or 37 miles southwest of Bakersfield. We do not have any felt reports, but it may have been felt in the epicentral area.

There was yet another quake this morning, at 11:19AM. This one was a M2.8, located 4 miles north of Big Bear City (6 miles NNE of Big Bear Lake). It was reported felt in the epicentral area. Peak intensity was Modified Mercalli II.
