A small quake ML3.0 was felt at 9:27 pm this evening in the Ontario, Chino, Corona & Norco areas. The epicenter was located 4 miles southeast of Ontario.

A ML3.8 quake was felt this afternoon in the Inland Empire. It occurred at 1:19 pm, 2 miles north-northeast of Fontana. We have about 300 “felt reports” so far, from Fontana, Cucamonga, Ontario, Riverside, San Bernardino & surrounding towns. The peak intensity was Modified Mercally IV.

A ML3.3 quake early this morning (4:01 am) was reported felt in Ocotillo, Boulevard, Jacumba & Jamul. The epicenter was located 16 miles southwest of Ocotillo, or about 40 miles west-southwest of El Centro.

A ML4.3 earthquake at 5:55 am this morning was widely felt in the Ventura county area & as far away as Santa Barbara & Castaic. The epicenter was located 5 miles east-southeast of Carpinteria, or 10 miles northwest of Ventura. There was a ML2.0 foreshock at 1:07 am, which was not felt. All aftershocks so far have been smaller than M2.0.

There was a M2.3 earthquake that occurred at 10:06 pm last night, 2 miles south of Malibu. We don’t have any felt reports, but if you felt this quake, you can report it here.

There was also a M3.0 that happened this morning at 11:38 am. This was felt in Loma Linda, Redlands, Riverside, Corona, San Bernardino, Lake Elsinore, Moreno Valley, Fontana, and the surrounding area. You can report this one by clicking here.

There was a M3.6 quake at 10:09 pm last night. It was located 34 miles southeast of Calexico. We haven’t received any felt reports thus far.

There was a very shallow M3.5 quake 12 miles north of Taft at 6:43 pm last night. The depth was 1 km, but we haven’t received any felt reports so far.
