A small cluster of quakes occurred overnight in the eastern Mojave Desert, 6 miles east of Ludlow. There were 14 of them, the largest 2 both being ML3.1. The ML3.1’s were at 7:15 pm & 7:32 pm. This activity is about 15 miles east of the Hector Mines aftershocks zone, so they should not be considered aftershocks. So far there are no reports of the quakes being felt.
