ATTENTION: TriNet has changed! It has been replaced by the following web sites:

www.scsn.org -- Information about the Southern California Seismic Network

www.cisn.org -- General Statewide Earthquake Information

www.quake.ca.gov -- Earthquake Information and Strong Motion Data from CGS

www.pasadena.wr.usgs.gov -- Earthquake Information from Southern California

www.data.scec.org -- Earthquake Catalogs and Seismological Data from Southern California

TriNet was a five-year collaborative project to create a better, more effective real-time earthquake information system for Southern California. The
agencies that comprised TriNet were:

The SCSN/TriNet, has become part of the Southern California Seismic Network (SCSN), a joint project of the Caltech Seismological Laboratory and the
USGS Pasadena Office. The SCSN is the authoritative management center for the southern portion of the California Integrated Seismic Network (CISN).
Information about the SCSN is available at www.scsn.org and seismological
data from southern California are available from www.data.scec.org and www.pasadena.wr.usgs.gov.

The CGS/TriNet has become part of the CSMIP/CGS operation, which also is the engineering
management center of the California Integrated Seismic Network (CISN). California engineering strong motion data and hazards maps are available
from: www.quake.ca.gov

The CISN is the California region of the Advanced National Seismic System (ANSS), a national system of regional seismic networks.

The new web site, www.scsn.org, has replaced www.trinet.org. Please make the appropriate changes to your bookmarks/favorites. The www.scsn.org web site will continue to provide the service and products that TriNet.org provided, but also takes steps into the future with a more functional, user-friendly, and technologically improved web site.
